Understated, well-executed design in our room; high quality finishes, linens, towels; 2 bathrobes provided in our room; comfortable mattress, pillows; quiet, effective temperature control; overall quiet; bold contemporary design in public areas; cleanliness everywhere; great food - we had dinner on arrival, then breakfast before departure; lots of accessible parking; unpretentious, polite, helpful, efficient staff.

This hotel's decor is beautiful. The beds are so comfortable and the pillows are heaven! I love that the parking lot is directly across the street however, it was full (due to a wedding) but the staff told me where to park and that was helpful.

The hotel is conveniently located downtown close by the Figge art musuem. There are a few bars and restaurants nearby. Parking is in a lot across from the hotel - you'll get wet if it rains!

Breakfast was huge. My one egg must have come from an ostrich! Maintenance was quick to replace our nonfunctioning remote with one that worked.

Beautiful and classy hotel. I love all the art work. I was disappointed that the downstairs bar and restaurant were not open. However, we had fun up at the Sky Bar and the breakfast was very good. It is a treat to stay here.

The location of this Hotel (and the Blackhawk) are great! I especially like that I can park directly across the street and just walk over to the hotel. Because I travel alone (with a small dog) and I"m female, this is very important as sometimes I arrive after dark. I always feel safe here at the Iowa Current.

I loved everything! The aesthetics... the cleanliness... the set up... the art... the tv inside the bathroom mirror was a dope touch... I LOVED EVERYTHING THEY HAVE TO OFFER
